Gerovital H3, 100 mg/5 ml injection solution, 5 ampoules, Zentiva
Indications:
Gerovital H3 is a medicine that contains a substance called procaine hydrochloride.
This medicine is used to prevent degenerative phenomena due to age.
Contraindications:
Do not use Gerovital H3:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to procaine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of Gerovital H3.
Precautions:
Before using Gerovital H3, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility:
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
There is not enough information available on the use of the medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
For these reasons, the use of the medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.
Driving and using machines:
Gerovital H3 does not affect the ability to drive or use machines. However, there is a risk of dizziness after injection.
Method of administration:
Always use Gerovital H3 exactly as your doctor has told you. You should talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Dosage:
The recommended dose is 5 ml of injection solution (one ampoule) per day, 3 times a week, for 4 weeks.
The treatment is repeated 5-6 times a year.
In between the injection treatment series, oral treatment will be added: 2 tablets per day, for 12 days.
In some cases, depending on the intensity and location of the process, the treatment can be administered only orally: 3 tablets per day, for 21 days, in 6-8 treatment series per year. The solution for injection will be given to you by injection into a muscle by your doctor or a healthcare professional.

Composition:
- The active substance is procaine hydrochloride. Each 5 ml solution for injection (one ampoule) contains 100 mg procaine hydrochloride.
- The other ingredients are: benzoic acid, potassium metabisulphite, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, water for injections.
